Elise Stalder (born 1987) is an Illustrator and Graphic Designer. Her studio and home is located at the Hvesser farm in Southeastern Norway. It is a pleasant and inspiring place to live, something which you are sure to see reflected in Elise’s art.
Her love for nature and animals is strongly present in her work. The illustrations are charming with feelings, personality and character. She mainly works with watercolours in a distinctive style that is both figurative and abstract.
«The magic and mystery of nature acts as a rich source of inspiration and I strive to capture the balance between the beautiful and the fragile, that both nature and life have to offer.»
Elise Stalder’s limited edition art prints and cards are sold through our online store as well as selected stockists throughout Norway and internationally.
Elise holds a B.A. in Media Design from Gjøvik University College (2010) and she is also educated as an Illustrator from the NKF, Oslo (2013). She established her company in February 2012 and started to work as a freelance Graphic Designer and Illustrator. In 2013 Elise took her first step towards her dream and launched her own line of watercolour illustrations. Today Elise’s limited edition art prints can be found in her webshop and selected interior- and design shops in Norway. The last few years they have also started to find their way to other parts of the world.
